Sources, rights & takedown
What the archive is
The Corpus demo searches publicly available public records from US public agencies: federal, state and local bodies such as state transportation departments, cities and ports. Some of these documents were prepared for an agency by a consulting firm. Each one came from a public website, records portal or public data service.
The demo also has fictional samples that SalemWise made for it, such as the sample firm's rate sheets, contract template and playbook. They are labelled FICTIONAL SAMPLE. The sample firm, Cedar Run, is made up.
Who owns what
- Federal works are public domain.
- All other documents keep their owners' rights: the agency that published them, or the firm that prepared them.
- SalemWise does not claim to own these documents. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any agency or firm named in them.
